  • Eravikulam National Park, which is a safe sanctuary for the Nilgiri Tahr,
  • Blossom Park,
  • Lakkom waterfalls
  • Attukad waterfalls.  

There is no shortage of restaurants like the Saravana Bhavan, the Maya bazar, Rapsy restaurant, Hotel Srinivas, and Hotel SN.

2. Kumarakom In Kerela

4. Periyar National Park In Kerela

Journey through the forest is also fulfilled by the boat safari through the lake, hiking with forest guides, rafting using bamboos, jungle patrols, trips on bullock carts and visit the tribal villages. I especially enjoyed the trekking from Moozhiyar to Thekkady.

5. Bekal In Kerela

BekalThe Bekal fort, an important visiting place in Kerala, has a  water tank and tunnel that opened towards the south with a special place to store the ammunition. A visit to this fort helped to understand the historical significance of the flight of broad steps that led to the Observation tower, from where the other towns can be viewed.  It was said that this Fort was protected from its enemies as this tower was considered to be of prime significance in defense mechanism.

It is considered as a shooting spot for movies and one of the sightseeing places in Kerala.
