Yes, I am confessing it. Delhi is my all time favorite destination. I may visit the place soon again. I have experienced so much about “Delhi”, some brag about it and some complaint about it but simply it’s amazing. I have formed a long list of the places to visit in Delhi.
Places To Visit In Delhi
1. Sarojini Market In Delhi
Yes, Sarojini is on the top of my list. I experienced a lot about the place and being a girl I don’t want to miss a chance to shop that is best and cheap at the same time. As they say “Jaisa Desh Waisa Bhes”, so I do have to look like Dilliwali. So visiting this place in Delhi is quite necessary. Lajpat Nagar and Karol Bagh are also one of my favorite destinations for shopping in Delhi.
2. Lotus Temple In Delhi
A friend of mine who is quite into spirituality and stuff has once requested me to visit “Lotus Temple” in any way to experience something which is beyond definition. And truly it was my amazing experience.
3. Akshardham Temple In Delhi
Akshardham temple is a place which I first saw in the pictures tagged by a friend on my facebook wall. After googling the place, I found the place is known best known for the architecture and way it has designed simply to attract everybody. So you definitely have to be there as soon as possible.
4. Connaught Place In Delhi
One of the most lavishing places present in Delhi is definitely Connaught place. The place has got the vibes of “Delhi” and everything that proves the modernity of the place. Being a lover of street food the place has to be visited frequently.
5. Hauz Khas Village In Delhi
The only thing that played a major role in making me vigilant about the place was the movies of “Imtiaz Ali”. From “Rockstar” to “Tamasha”, he insisted my extinct to visit the place while in Delhi. So you need to pay my tribute to this place full of life and full of curiosity.
6. India Gate In Delhi
India Gate is at the top in my list of best places to visit in Delhi, as I don’t want to lose a chance to feel closer to my roots. The place looks so serene that I am damn sure you will like the place. Two hours around the place would be enough to accumulate the things the place has got for me.
7. Qutub Minar In Delhi
The second largest tower in the capital with the first ever made mosque in it. The place is a must to be explored and witnessed. There is wish-fulfilling iron pillar is also present at the Qutub Minar and being a little superstitious; You need to be there at any cost if you have a long list of wishes.
So, this was my not so long list of the places to visit in Delhi. There are much more which are going to be added on the prescriptions of siblings and friends. Till then, “You are not that far”!
P.S: Don’t worry about Travelling inside Delhi, as you will have amazing “Metro” there.
