HOW TO REACH HARIDWAR?

Haridwar does not have an airport but it is well connected by road to all the major cities. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant in Dehradun which is approximately 35 kms from Haridwar.

New Delhi to Haridwar

By Air: There is no direct flight. The nearest airport is the Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun which is 35 kms away from the main city of Haridwar. The flight will cost you around 4000 Rs and then you have to take a bus o train or taxi from the airport.

By Train: Haridwar is well connected with other cities of the country via regular trains. There are a lot of trains which crosses Haridwar. The railway station in Haridwar is Haridwar Junction at Motichur.

By Bus: You can easily get regular buses for Haridwar from anywhere in the country. The place is well connected via bus with major cities.

The right time to visit Haridwar is in the month of February, March, August and October. The days in Haridwar will be Hot during summer time but the nights will be very pleasant.
